Craig completed a successful military career of over 30 years in February 2019. Qualified as a Principal Warfare Officer – Air Warfare specialist, Craig has extensive experience in Command, Leadership and Management, Project Management, Training Systems, and Simulation which are now being applied to the growth of Sayres Australia Pty Ltd in the Asia Pacific region.

Director, Training Development

Christopher is a retired Navy Commander Training Systems Specialist with 40+ years of military experience in command, leadership, management, change management, project management, data analysis, and workforce development. He is a highly recognised performer who has consistently demonstrated an ability to manage and lead diverse teams to produce time-sensitive results in complex and dynamic environments.

Malcolm Conway

Learning and Development Specialist

Malcolm is a former Army Education Officer with decades of learning and development, education and training, and military operational experience in Australia, the US, the UK, and Afghanistan. Ensuring he stays current with up-to-date educational approaches, Malcolm utilises a range of approaches to training design and instruction, including the integration of digital technologies and learning and development practices via blended learning. Malcolm is a strong advocate for research and development in encouraging innovation, both in industry and educational practices.

Craig Butler

Learning and Development Specialist

Craig is a dedicated and motivated Training Systems Specialist with extensive experience in the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL). In addition, Craig has extensive experience in the design and delivery of both accredited and non-accredited education and training programs. With a strong commitment to achieving organisational outcomes, Craig has a proven ability to assist major committees and organisations to identify and implement strategic plans. He has considerable experience, both as a leader and member of semi-autonomous work teams, and in RTO compliance management and internal auditing.

Mary Powell

General Manager

Mary is an experienced program, policy, project, contract, and governance professional who efficiently identifies and prioritises what needs to happen to achieve organisational objectives. She has refined communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to gain credibility at all levels of an organisation to influence business strategy and thought leadership. Mary has many successes resulting from cultivating highly collaborative and strategic relationships to drive growth and transformation opportunities.
